Heres what others are saying about the TeleCenter Network!

Ron Jensen, Poplar Bluff
I have been using the Poplar Bluff TCRC public-access computers for several months now, and by being able to access the Internet and gain information available there, I have greatly expanded my knowledge in several different areas. Without the availability of these services, I would have had to spend hours of research in a library to learn what was easily found in a short time on the computer. |

| Another thing that I like very much about being able to use the public computers at the Poplar Bluff TCRC is that I am able to print out a fixed number of free pages from their printer. That saves me time, because I can take those pages home and use them for reference at my leisure. The staff at the TCRC has always been available to answer my every question and help me with accessing various sites on the Internet, or clearing up any problems that I might have encountered. They are very courteous and helpful. I would highly recommend the Poplar Bluff TCRC to anyone who needed access to the Internet. |

Judith Haggard, F.N.P., Kennett
I was shocked and thrilled to discover a program on ITV close to home. I had been looking for years to get into a masters program but could not travel to Columbia. The program was excellent, and I love being a Family Nurse Practitioner in my own community.

Bontiea Edgar, CEO, Alternative Opportunities Inc.
The staff and services from Tri-lakes TCRC were wonderful. They were resourceful, supportive and highly knowledgable. Our organization found the services to be both beneficial and enjoyable.

Sue Moore, Assistant Dean for Non-Credit Programs, Ozarks Technical Community College
The MAACCE (Missouri Association of Adult Continuing and Community Education) Spring Institute recently held in your ITV classroom (Reeds Spring) was a success. The classroom and the equipment were just what we needed to host a statewide meeting of colleagues for professional development. The ability to hold these meetings within an hours drive of most participants was very beneficial.

| Clarence H. Hoffman, Executive Director, Missouri Peace Officers Association
On behalf of the Missouri Peace Officers Association, I want to express my appreciation for the courtesy and hospitality extended during the training session held at the Kirksville Telecommunication Community Resource Center. The facility was an excellent setting for our training session.

Sandra Wells, County Clerk, St. Francois County
By traveling to Mineral Area College, I could have a say in the hearings on election reform. Had I been required to go to Jefferson City, I might not have been able to make it because of local election certification taking place.

Toni Rice, Project Coordinator, SAPTA
Since the start of the Sexual Abuse Prevention and Training for All (SAPTA) program in October 2000, we have used videoconferencing as a cost-effective way to reach and train people. I have had the pleasure of working very closely, on almost a daily basis, with the TCRCs. Each staff member has gone out of his/her way to make this important program a success, from assisting with marketing, suggesting technical and style changes, and any other support or information they felt could help.

Greg Miller, Chief of Police, Mexico
Officers have found the training through the Mexico TCRC to be cost-effective and convenient. We are pleased with the results and that the Mexico TCRC is bringing this training to Mexico.

Dr. Kent Farnsworth, President, Crowder College, Neosho
Institutions working together to share resources helps us to provide better services to our distance learning students. Crowder College is pleased to be involved in the TeleCenter partnership in Nevada.

Susan Potter, Deputy Circuit Clerk, Dallas County 30th Circuit
As an employee of the court system, I received computer training at the Nevada TeleCenter. I was grateful I didnt have to drive to get this training. By having this training closer, I could attend more sessions with time in between to absorb what I learned, and the instruction was excellent.

Maureen Short, BSN, Nursing Home Administrator, Barone Alzheimers Care Center
I have attended several satellite downlink programs at the Nevada TeleCenter, which provided me with continuing education units. Im looking forward to more such programming. Having the TeleCenter so close has really been beneficial.

April Piland, R.N., C.S., F.N.P., Poplar Bluff
The University of Missouri regional telecommunication center has provided the opportunity for me to complete my graduate education in nursing by providing the link from the University to our rural site. Without the expertise, professionalism and genuine desire of the staff to create this center, graduate and higher education for this rural area would remain hours away.

Sonya Woodsmall, Poplar Bluff
This telecommunications center has enabled me to pursue an advanced degree in nursing that otherwise would not have been possible with family, career and home responsibilities. I am very grateful for this center and the doors it has opened for me. Thank you very much!
